The Folsom Lake Student Anglers is composed of middle and high school students who live in the Folsom Lake and surrounding areas. Joining the team provides an opportunity for like-minded students who love fishing to get together and share their unique passion. The focus of the team is competitive bass fishing on various lakes in California.

The club runs August to June.

TEAM MEETINGS

The team meets on the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 PM in a central location around Folsom. During the meetings, information is provided about upcoming events. The team also hosts professional anglers from our area as guests. Our guests provide specific tips and an opportunity for Q&A. These meetings can be a great learning experience for all.

JOIN THE CLUB

Team Requirements: Students must have a positive attitude and a collaborative approach toward fishing. The team fee is $200 (one time fee), which includes a team jersey, MLF membership, and TBF membership. Each tournament is $30 per team, and the non-boater should tip the boater to cover costs. The team is for serious anglers, and you must be committed to the sport.  We fish as partner's, so joining with a partner is ideal but we may be able to help match you with a partner.  Contact us if you're interested in joining.
