ABOUT THE CLUB
Originally started in 2013 as Vista Del Lago Fishing Club by Vista High School Freshman Luke Johns, we have evolved to encompass the entire Folsom lake area, renaming in 2024 to Folsom Lake Student Anglers. Our founder, Luke Johns is currently a competitive angler and a graduate from Sacramento State University.
The Folsom Lake Student Anglers is composed of middle and high school students who live in the Folsom Lake and surrounding areas. Joining the team provides an opportunity for like-minded students who love fishing to get together and share their unique passion. The focus of the team is competitive bass fishing on various lakes in California. There are also tournaments outside of California if competitors choose to travel.
